About Cadmus

Located in the beautiful Berkshires, the Cadmus Lifesharing Association supports a vibrant community where people of all abilities share their lives together. Through shared living, meaningful activities, and genuine connections, we celebrate diversity and build a better world where developmental differences are embraced, and everyone can reach their fullest potential.

Founded in 1989, Cadmus Lifesharing was formed to foster the development of extended family settings where persons in need of support to maintain their quality of life could be provided with living and working situations appropriate to their individual abilities and needs. Throughout the years, Cadmus has grown and now has five lifesharing houses and a robust day program.
